The SafeTouch Program is an elementary school-based abuse prevention program for children kindergarten through fifth grade. SafeTouch was first introduced in elementary schools in 1987. Last year we served almost 12,000 children in 31 Weld County elementary schools.

The goal of this interactive, grade-appropriate program is to teach children what constitutes abuse and unwanted touch. In our program children learn the three Rs of body safety, to Recognize, Resist if possible, and Report their experience to a trusted adult.

For Parents and Educators: If you would like c.a.r.e. to provide our free SafeTouch presentations to your Weld County elementary school please contact your school administrator or call Liz at (970) 356-6751.
